When I first began designing furniture I had the intent that people would associate my name with with my furniture. However, when I created my business, Refinery Design, I decided not to include my name in the name of the business. Over the years, I have observed that it has only caused confusion as to who was creating the furniture. Therefore, in an effort at clarity, Refinery Design has been renamed and will now conduct business under the name Peter Loh Studio Furniture. While the name has changed, you can still count on seeing the same high standards of quality and craftsmanship in my designs, new and old, here at www.peterloh.com and at craft and furniture shows around the country!
The new website has a few new features that were not present in the old site that I am excited about. As you've already discovered, the home page now features a dynamic news ticker to keep you up to date with the latest news. You can click on 'news headlines' to see a list of the latest news items or click on the individual news headline in the ticker to go straight to that item.
There is now a page that lists my current inventory. All of the items listed on this page are available for immediate purchase, almost no waiting required! To view this page, follow the 'available now' link located at the right side of the navigation bar or click here.
Finally, a feature that has been requested previously has made it to the site- one page to view the entire online portfolio. On this page all of the work is presented in a large grid of images. Clicking on an image will take you to the its individual page. You can reach this page by following the 'view all' link located at the bottom of the gallery pop-up menu or click here.
